RMA returns – safe and efficient pump repair and service

At Flux Pumps, we prioritise safety and traceability when handling returned pumps and accessories. Due to potential contamination with hazardous substances, we follow a strict RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) process to protect our service engineers from accidental contact with dangerous media.

Before sending your product for repair or service, ensure it is properly cleaned and documented:

  • Empty and decontaminate the pump if it has been exposed to hazardous, corrosive, toxic, or flammable substances classified under GHS / REACH regulations.
  • Radioactive or biologically contaminated products cannot be accepted.
  • Download and complete the Flux decontamination declaration.
  • Finally, submit your RMA request via our website and attach the decontamination declaration, safety data sheets, handling instructions and COSHH assessment (if available).

  • You will receive an RMA consignment note and return instructions within 2 working days.

  • Securely package the pump to prevent damage during transport.
  • Attach the RMA consignment note and Decontamination Declaration to the outside of the package, clearly visible, in a protected sleeve.
  • Ship the pump prepaid and insured, within five working days of receiving the RMA number. The sender bears responsibility for loss or damage of goods in transit.

  • Once received, our pump repair and service team will assess the product/s, usually within 5 working days.
  • If applicable, you will receive a cost estimate for approval, unless pre-approved in the RMA request.

  • We cannot process returns without an RMA consignment note, decontamination declaration, or safety data sheet. Any such items will be returned unprocessed.
  • Only use the assigned RMA consignment note for registered returns.
  • If your return is a result of transport damage, report it immediately to us and the courier.
  • Unwanted or incorrectly ordered items returned for credit will be subject to a re-stocking fee. Certain items, eg. custom-made parts, special order items and prefabricated hoses are non-refundable, except in warranty cases. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions of Sale for further information.
