A Landmark Year for Flux Pumps – 75 Years of Innovation, Growth and Community Spirit
What a Year So Far – Flux Pumps Celebrates 75 Years of Innovation
2025 has already been a landmark year for Flux Pumps and the momentum continues to build. As we pass the halfway point, we reflect on the milestones, leadership changes and celebrations that have shaped an extraordinary anniversary year for the global drum pump pioneer.
75 years of Flux Pumps – A celebration of heritage and progress
This year marks 75 years since the invention of the world’s first electric drum pump – a breakthrough that laid the foundation for the Flux name. Today, that same pioneering spirit drives everything we do, from continuous innovation in pump technology to exceptional customer service across more than 100 countries.
In July, the team at our headquarters in the town of Maulbronn, near Stuttgart, celebrated with a charity food and music festival, raising funds for the local Children’s Centre. The event not only marked our anniversary but also reinforced Flux’s commitment to giving back to the community.
Charitable giving continues
In keeping with our values, Flux Pumps is once again supporting Medicins Sans Frontieres, also known as Doctors Without Borders, in 2025. As a proud donor, we’re helping fund critical emergency medical aid in more than 70 countries, underscoring our global responsibility beyond the world of fluid handling.
Office refurbishment and future direction
Another huge project will be completed in 2025 – the refurbishment of our headquarters in Maulbronn. Our five-storey office building will be completely renovated by the end of the year, with new windows and exterior cladding, along with improved ventilation and cooling systems, plus open-plan, enhanced work spaces and innovative relaxation areas. Furthermore, photovoltaic solar panels will installed on the factory roof – cutting energy costs, reducing our carbon footprint and making a bold statement about the future direction of the company.
Leadership changes
An additional milestone this year was leadership transition at Flux-Geräte GmbH. Our long-serving Managing Director, Klaus Hahn, has reduced his working hours prior to retirement. He has passed the baton to Alexander Geib (Managing Director – Finance, Production, Personnel & IT) and Jürgen Rabenseifner (Managing Director – Sales & Product Development).
Furthermore, Kiran Kadam, Managing Director of Flux Pumps India, has retired and passed the baton on to our longstanding colleague, Prasad Joshi. Not only that, our Indian operation will move from the city of Pune to Mumbai, marking a extremely busy year for Flux Pumps India.
This new leadership team brings proven experience, while continuing our legacy of excellence.
As we enter the second half of 2025, our goal remains simple: to deliver reliable, innovative pumps backed by the trusted expertise of Flux Pumps – we remain committed to the values that shaped the last 75 years. Here’s to everything we’ve achieved so far in 2025 – and everything still to come.
