When using FP 425 there can be less than 0.05 l residual amount left in a 200 l drum, so maximum 0.02 %. The pump has an integrated backflow valve that can be closed before removing the pump from the container. Thus backflow of remaining liquid in the pump and discharge hose is prevented. These pumps can be specified for use with barrels, drums or IBC's. The F425 is ideal for use with expensive or dangerous liquids where spills and waste should be avoided. It also saves on cleaning and disposal costs when handling problematic chemicals. The pump is available in stainless steel, polypropylene and hastelloy C materials.  FFKM o-rings are available if the pump will be used for particularly aggressive liquids. The stainless steel pump is ATEX certified for use in hazardous areas.
