ARO’s PRO Series diaphragm pumps are engineered with patented features that ensure superior performance and also reliability:

  1. 1. Bolted construction for leak-free operation: ARO PRO Series pumps feature a bolted housing design, providing a secure, leak-free seal. This design minimises the risk of fluid leakage, further enhancing safety and reducing the chance of environmental contamination. Additionally, the bolted configuration simplifies maintenance, allowing for easy disassembly and reassembly.
  2. Choice of material and porting options: The PRO Series is available in a range of material and porting configurations. Whether dealing with corrosive chemicals or abrasive slurries, there is a pump configuration to suit every application.
  3. 3. Self-priming and dry-run capabilities: ARO diaphragm pumps are self-priming and can run dry for limited periods without damage. These pumps provide maximum flexibility – they can be installed in a variety of plant locations and handle a range of liquid viscosities.
  4. 5. Scientific advantage – pressure wave damping: Unlike conventional AODD pumps, ARO’s air-operated diaphragm pumps control internal pressure waves more effectively through advanced porting and valve geometry. This reduces cavitation and allows for more accurate, repeatable flow control, even in systems with varying back pressure.
  5. 6. Noise and energy reduction: The integral muffler, paired with the unique Simulshift air valve system, significantly reduces operational noise and air consumption. This makes ARO diaphragm pumps not just quieter, but also more energy-efficient—a key advantage in any business.
  6. Optional electronic interface capability: ARO PRO Series pumps can be specified with an electronic interface for remote integration with PLCs and control systems. Therefore, precise control over dosing and batching processes can be achieved, with repeatability within ±1%.

By incorporating these innovative features, ARO PRO Series diaphragm pumps deliver efficient, reliable and safe fluid handling across a multitude of industrial applications.

  • Acid and alkali dosing and transfer
  • Water and wastewater treatment
  • Paints, coatings, and adhesives
  • Ethanol and detergent applications
  • Slurry and abrasive fluid handling
  • Food and beverage (non-sanitary applications)
  • Oil pumping
