Solenoid-actuated air valve
Firstly, the solenoid valve provides consistent stroke actuation for predictable volumetric displacement. Consequently, each cycle delivers a repeatable volume, supporting dosing and flow regulation within process tolerances.
Patented Quick Dump™ Valve
Proprietary Quick Dump™ technology diverts cold exhaust air away from the air motor, therefore reducing the risk of icing and air valve stalling. In independent tests, this design consequently reduced freeze-related downtime by over 30% under high-speed continuous cycling.
Sensor feedback & stroke detection
Built-in sensors provide accurate stroke count data and leak detection, thereby enabling pre-emptive maintenance scheduling and reducing unplanned stoppages. Furthermore, stroke feedback provides traceability in validated processes.
Material Compatibility
ARO pumps are available in chemically resistant materials such as 316 stainless steel, Polypropylene and Hastelloy®. This ensures long service life when pumping corrosive and abrasive media—tested up to 1 million cycles in aggressive fluid environments.
Optional closed-loop automation
Finally, the EXP Series can be optionally specified with an integrated electronic interface for PLC or PC connectivity. This allows dosing accuracy to within ±1%, along with real-time performance monitoring—critical for automated batching and metered dispensing applications.
