Flux CombiFlux F 314 Electric & Battery Drum Pump Tubes

Price range: £247.19 through £631.29

The Flux CombiFlux FP 314 sets the gold standard for portable, seal-less, battery drum pumps. It performs reliably in laboratories, production facilities, and mobile operations. Flux manufactures this modular battery drum pump in Germany and crafts it from polypropylene (PP), PVDF, or stainless steel 316 Ti. It enables safe, controlled transfer of corrosive and neutral liquids from small containers, 200-litre drums and 1000-litre IBCs.

Motor compatibility

Its compatibility with both the FBM-B 3100 brushless battery motor and the FEM 3070 electric motor makes the FP 314 exceptionally versatile. The pump features a seal-less design that removes the need for a mechanical seal. This reduces maintenance costs, extends service life, and improves dry-run capability. When paired with our brushless battery motor, the CombiFlux F 314 becomes fully mobile. This is ideal where trailing cables are unwanted or prohibited.

CombiFlux pumps are the World’s best, lightweight, low viscosity drum pumps for emptying smaller containers and for infrequent use. Thanks to the unique Flux spiral shaft bearing, this pump consequently delivers class-leading service life with minimal maintenance requirements.

Furthermore, the Flux CombiFlux FP 314 battery drum pump is a modular, robust industry-proven solution. Its seal-less design with ETFE axial impeller addresses two common failure points in many drum pumps—seal failure due to lack of preventative maintenance, and also impeller wear from use of lower quality impeller materials.

Dry-running

By eliminating the mechanical seal entirely, the FP 314 can subsequently handle limited dry running without damage, simplifying maintenance requirements and reducing downtime caused by seal failure and fluid leakage.

Moreover, the interchangeable motor coupling, featuring a dual quick-release clamps, means that a single FBM-B 3100 battery motor, or FEM 3070 electric motor, can be used to power multiple pump tubes.

Furthermore, this design reduces up-front investment costs, optimises equipment use, speeds up dispensing processes and additionally, prevents cross-contamination between different fluids.

For facilities managing batch production and handling many different chemicals, this modular architecture consequently significantly increases process efficiency and ROI.

The answer is – probably. You can use CombiFlux FP 314 pump tubes with a wide spectrum of common fluids at temperatures up to 80°C*. Furthermore, with material options that include polypropylene (PP), PVDF and 316 Ti stainless steel, you can choose the most suitable material for your application.

Common media include:

  • Dilute acids (e.g. hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid, acetic acid)
  • Alkaline solutions (e.g. sodium hydroxide, ammonia, detergents)
  • Low-viscosity oils and emulsions
  • Aqueous salt solutions, surfactants and CIP fluids

Components such as the ETFE impeller, PTFE / carbon composite bearings and Hastelloy C driveshaft are selected specifically for their high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress cracking, therefore ensuring long service life, even in tough chemical handling environments.

In addition, the pump can handle viscous fluids up to 250 mPas and high-density fluids up to 1.3 SG, under continuous duty use. However, only pump higher viscosity, or higher density fluids for short periods, as they drain the battery quickly.

Please note

Most importantly, note this battery drum pump is not suitable for use in Zoned areas, or for pumping highly flammable media with a flashpoint below 50 degrees C. Furthermore, the pump is not approved for handling edible food products and beverages.
