Flux RFM and RFML (Ex-approved) diaphragm pumps (previously branded Flux REKO pumps) are designed for the toughest environments. Their highly robust, durable construction, machined from solid PTFE or PP, means these vibration-resistant pumps deliver great performance in continuous duty applications. Additionally, these air-operated double-diaphragm pumps can handle corrosive chemicals, high temperature fluids and also abrasive media with ease.
By using composite diaphragms, they deliver extremely long service life, even when running at high pressures. Furthermore, their tough construction makes them highly resistant to distortion or deformation that can be a problem with moulded pumps. Self-priming and dry-running capabilities ensure safe and also efficient operation. The RFML version is a conductive ATEX-approved design for use in hazardous areas, while FDA-certified models meet hygienic requirements for food or pharma applications.
Each Flux RFM/RFML diaphragm pump is designed to provide safe, reliable fluid transfer. Plus, their class-leading robust construction, chemical resistance and adaptability make them an excellent choice for difficult industrial applications. We offer RFM/ RFML pumps in the following sizes: 3/8”, 1/2”, 1” and 1 1/2”.
Whether handling aggressive chemicals or high-viscosity fluids, these pumps ensure long-lasting performance.

The pumps are essentially the same, however, the L-designation signifies that the pump is constructed from electrically conductive materials and is Ex-certified, i.e.. safe for use in hazardous ATEX Zoned areas, which may contain flammable vapours.
ATEX refers to European regulations ensuring equipment safety in explosive atmospheres. Therefore, explosion-proof pumps meet strict safety standards and are designed to prevent ignition of explosive air-vapour mixtures in hazardous environments. In addition, should ignition occur, the pump has built-in safety features that will contain any flash-fire or explosion inside the pump housing. For more information, see our ATEX blog here.
The Flux RFM/RFML diaphragm pumps are available with FDA-certification, which means they are approved for use in sanitary applications by the US Food and Drug Administration. In addition, these pumps utilise food-safe materials and are free of dead spaces where the pumped product could collect, potentially fostering bacterial growth. These pumps ensure safe handling of consumable liquids in industries such as food processing, beverage production and pharmaceuticals.
