One brand. One promise.
Flux manufactures the widest range of drum and IBC pumps in the world. Liquid transfer, emptying, mixing, filling, dispensing and metering ‒ our customers' processes are incredibly diverse too. And our promise is to provide your company with smooth running processes. This is what the FLUX brand name stands for. FLUX is recognised globally as a byword for quality, safety and reliability. And always at the lowest whole life cost. Flux Pumps offers cost-effective solutions for almost every drum, barrel, tank or IBC transfer application.
Smooth-running processes ‒ FLUX not only guarantees this for liquids which are relatively easy to pump, but also when the product is viscous or doesn't flow at all. We offer equipment for handling corrosive liquids. Plus, pumps approved for use in the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and medical sectors. Handling flammable liquids? No problem, we can specify ATEX (Ex) approved equipment for use in zoned areas where there is an explosion hazard.
FLUX has a huge range of expertise to offer. In other words, a lot more than just pumps. From a technical standpoint this means a comprehensive range of mixers, pumps, valves, flow meters, hoses and fittings, programmable batch controllers, dispense nozzles, plus a whole lot more. We can also assemble, test, commission and train your operators how to use the equipment. From a project perspective, "More than just pumps", means accompanying our customers from the first telephone call right through to offering class leading after sales service.
This is how FLUX keeps your liquids and processes moving. Long-term. Simple, complex or custom-made project assignments: FLUX is prepared for any request. We know our customers need more than just pumps.
Flux invented the electric drum pump in 1950. No other pump manufacturer can match our experience in the production of vertical pumps. For over 75 years, Flux Pumps has been the innovator in drum and container pump technology. For example, we introduced the first explosion-proof electric drum pump motor and the first brushless, battery-powered motor for container pumps. With our extensive expertise, Flux provides optimal solutions for pumping, mixing, transfer and dispensing.
Our innovative products offer long-term reliability and superior quality. We promise to provide our customers with the best drum and IBC in the world, with over 85% of our production “Made in Germany.” Our durable, reliable pumps have earned us market leading status, along with several product design awards.
We offer the widest range of vertical pumps in the World. We can manufacture custom sizes and designs to suit our customer’s needs. A complete range of spare parts is available for every Flux product. Our aim is to deliver products with class-leading whole-life cost, thereby reducing our customer’s costs in the long term.
Smooth running processes are one thing, but safety for process operators is also our priority. When designing new products, our initial considerations include safety and ergonomics. Our production facility is ISO 9001 certified and all Flux products conform with worldwide safety standards.

Flux is known worldwide as the creator of the electric barrel (or drum) pump. We are drum pump experts, manufacturing the widest range of portable, vertically installed chemical pumps for use in tanks, IBC’s, barrels and containers.
As well as portable pumps, we also manufacture larger, high flow 600 & 700 Series vertical immersion pumps for permanent installation in tanks. These pumps are suitable for circulation and high-flow transfer applications. Most Flux pumps are suitable for heavy-duty use and continuous running in demanding industrial applications.
In addition to vertical pumps, we also manufacture pumps for “dry” installation, such as our TR range of tank and IBC pumps and RFM/L series air-operated diaphragm pumps. Furthermore, we produce the FMC range of eccentric-disc flowmeters, which pair with our portable pumps for manual and semi-automatic dispensing operations.
We offer expert support through multiple channels. The Company is headquartered in Germany with operations in both Cologne and Stuttgart. Subsidiary companies are located in France, the Netherlands, the UK, the US, India and Thailand. Additionally, Flux has dedicated distribution partners in over 100 countries. We would be pleased to put you in touch with your local representative.
