IBC Heater – Multi Zone Heating Jackets for 1000 L IBC Containers

Price range: £1,359.56 through £2,074.33

This IBC heater provides fast, controlled heating for standard 1000 L IBC containers - the ideal solution for liquids that are highly viscous at room temperature, making IBCs difficult to empty. An IBC container heater reduces the media viscosity, facilitating easier draining or pump out, while reducing costly residual product waste. Moreover, each heater can be installed easily and performs reliably across a wide range of industrial applications.

Choose from three configurations, each with dedicated DigiTherm temperature control:

  • Single zone IBC heater with one digital controller (0–40°C)
  • Dual zone IBC heater with two digital controllers (0–90°C)
  • Triple zone IBC heater with three digital controllers (0–90°C)
  • Optional insulated lid can be added to enhance heat retention.
Each option delivers different heating speeds, thereby covering a variety of applications from frost protection, through to rapid heating - even for high density, non-flowable media.
Lead times may vary, subject to prior orders. If next day delivery is required, please contact us to discuss availability before placing your order.

This IBC heater delivers high thermal efficiency and ensures consistent product flow during pumping, mixing and dispensing tasks. Also known as tote warmers, IBC heating jackets and IBC heated jackets, these simple heaters stop products freezing and maintain temperature-curing products at safe levels.

  • Reduces viscosity for easier pumping with Flux Viscopower drum pumps.
  • Digital controllers maintain accurate temperature settings.
  • Multi‑zone heating significantly speeds up warm‑up times.
  • Teflon‑coated Cordura outer fabric resists wear and moisture.
  • Silicone‑insulated resistance elements deliver even heat distribution.
  • Polyester insulation minimises heat loss during transport.
  • Quick‑release buckles ensure fast installation and removal.
  • Lightweight construction supports safe handling in production areas.
  • Works effectively with heating cabinets.
  • Can be used in conjunction with Flux Viscopower IBC pumps.
  • Flux IBC heated jackets can be paired effectively with the optional IBC insulated lid, for faster heating times, improved efficiency and reduced heat loss. The lid also helps shield the container surface from UV exposure in demanding environments.

Why use an IBC heater for viscous materials?

Heaters reduce product viscosity and improve flowability, while reducing costly residual product waste. They also maintain heat-sensitive media at safe levels, reducing the risk of curing, separation, degradation or crystallisation.

What is the difference between the three IBC heater options?

The single‑zone model heats more slowly to a maximum of 40 deg C, while the dual‑zone and triple‑zone models heat faster with higher temperature range up to 90 deg C.

Can I use this heater during transport?

Yes. The secure buckles and durable Cordura outer cover resist abrasion during transport.

How quickly can the IBC heater warm a 1000 L container?

With an insulated lid fitted, a 1000 litre IBC filled with water can be heated from +15°C to +30°C at different speeds, depending on the number of active heating zones. As a guide, the single-zone version may take around 72 hours, the dual-zone version around 20 hours, and the triple-zone version approximately 6 hours.

This IBC heater delivers precise heating, proven durability and consistent performance. It integrates seamlessly with Flux IBC pumps and Flux barrel pumps, ensuring smooth transfer of heated materials. Moreover, it supports improved workflows across chemical, food, cosmetic, adhesive and lubricant manufacturing applications.
