Flux Pumps Reflects on a Standout CHEMUK 2026 Show

CHEMUK 2026 was another exceptional show for the UK chemical industry and Flux Pumps UK was proud to be part of it. This year’s event delivered some of the strongest ChemUK 2026 exhibition highlights yet, bringing together more than 600 specialist suppliers, 100 expert speakers and thousands of professionals who are shaping the future of UK chemical production and distribution.

ChemUK 2026 exhibition highlights: Product innovation and industry insight

Flux unveiled the world’s first intelligent battery motor for drum pumps. Our new 36 V FBM 4100 motor has one goal: to replace comparable electric drum and IBC pumps entirely. Powered by two Einhell 4 Ah batteries as standard, with the option to upgrade to 8 Ah batteries for even longer runtimes, electric power points are no longer required. Not only that, this motor delivers more performance, along with improved operator safety and mobility.

Furthermore, this new motor is packed with innovative features, including switchable dry-run protection, an LED work lamp and six programmable run timers for accurate batch dispensing. This is done without the need for an expensive flowmeter. We can even supply pump adaptors that allow FBM 4100 to be mounted directly on competitors’ pump tubes.

The response from new and existing customers, was outstanding. Furthermore, visitors were keen to see how the system integrates with our established F 400 series pump range.

Across the two days, we met personnel from a diverse range of businesses – from raw material producers and distributors, to regulatory specialists and chemical manufacturers. The conversations were insightful and forward‑thinking. It’s clear that despite ongoing output contraction, rising cost pressures and restructuring across the industry, some bright spots should be celebrated. For instance, the UK governments’ newly created £350 million investment fund for UK chemical manufacturers, alongside approximately 40 new capital investment projects. Not forgetting the Chemical Industries Association Project 2035 initiative, designed to drive decarbonisation, innovation and workforce development.

CHEMUK described this year’s event as “truly unforgettable,” and we couldn’t agree more.

We’re grateful to everyone who visited our stand, shared their experiences and pumping challenges and explored how our pumping solutions can improve their operations. To discuss your requirements, please do reach out via our contact page.

We’ve already secured our stand for ChemUK 2027 year. We look forward to returning to the UK’s leading chemical industry meeting point. You can also revisit our latest updates in our news and events section.
