PPMA 2026 Exhibition Highlights: Flux Pumps Showcases New Innovations & Live Demonstrations

PPMA 2026 Exhibition Highlights at NEC Birmingham

PPMA is the annual showcase for the UK processing and packaging machinery sector, providing an ideal platform to demonstrate our latest pumping solutions and discuss real‑world application challenges with visitors from the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. Held at the NEC Birmingham from 22–24 September, our team engaged with over one hundred engineers, manufacturers and technical specialists over three busy days.

FBM Battery Motor Demonstrations

The new cordless FBM Battery Motor remained a major talking point throughout the show. Visitors were particularly interested in:

  • Mobility and safety benefits in production areas
  • Intelligent features including batch timers, dry-run protection and flowmeter integration
  • Compatibility with competing manufacturer’s pump tubes

Our live demonstrations highlighted how battery‑powered operation combined with smart features improve flexibility in a huge range of applications.

We also demonstrated our programmable dispensing systems, allowing users to decant pre-set quantities at the touch of a button. These sessions attracted OEMs, automation specialists and production managers evaluating equipment for upcoming projects. Conversations centred on lean manufacturing, waste reduction and safety improvements.

Industry Engagement & Key Discussions

Across the three days, we met businesses requesting solutions for:

  • Productivity improvements
  • Greater flexibility and potability
  • Safer chemical handling
  • Smarter automation and process control

PPMA’s focus on robotics, automation and smart manufacturing aligned closely with the challenges our customers shared.
