The compact, horizontally installed Miniflux pump is designed for emptying IBCs via their floor-level outlet. Designed as an alternative to a vertical Flux pump, the Miniflux can be used when an IBC is not accessible from the top. It is suitable for applications when gravity draining via the outlet tap is insufficient e.g. rapid dispensing or transfer to another container in a higher location. The Miniflux can be powered by a commutator or compressed air motor.  The pump is constructed from 316L stainless steel with a choice of o-ring materials.  Miniflux has full ATEX certification for pumping low flashpoint liquids or for use in zoned ATEX areas.

  • Application areas: Atex

Technical data:

  • Flow rate: max. 240 l/min1
  • Delivery head: max. 13 mwc2
  • Viscosity: min. 1 mPas - max. 1000 mPas2
  • Outer tube diameter: max. 41 mm
  • Immersion length: für den horizontalen Einsatz
  • Materials outer tube: Stainless steel
  • Media / Fluids: Aqueous salt solutions, Highly flammable media, Petroleum products, Solvents
  • Seal: with mechanical seal
  • Container: 1000 l IBC, Container with floor drain
  • 1 The maximum delivery rate is a test bench value, measured with water at 20 ° C at the pressure port of the pump, without accessories (hose, nozzle, flow meter). The practically achievable delivery rate is lower. It depends on the individual application, the fluid properties and the pump configuration. Please refer to technical data sheets / performance diagrams.

Product attributes

  • For pumping out IBCs directly from the outlet valve (with standard S60 x 6 thread)
  • Simple connection to IBC by union nut
  • Compact design
  • Can be quickly dismantled into two parts via clamp
  • Low overall weight of 1.2 kg
  • No need to mount pump to top of container
  • Does not require access to the container from above
  • Use with commutator motor or compressed-air motor

Benefits

  • Can be used where ceilings are low
  • Allows pumping directly from floor-level outlets, even when containers are stacked
  • Significantly higher flow rate and pressure compared to draining by gravity
  • Minimal space requirement
  • Simple disconnection from IBC with union nut
  • Delivery against closed valve (e.g. hand nozzle, flap valve etc.) possible
  • Suitable for use in hazardous areas zone 1
