Can this tank insulation blanket be used with an IBC heater?

Yes. The cover works alongside a low‑level IBC container heater as part of a layered insulation setup. For best results, switch on the container heater first, then secure the insulation body cover.

Once you tighten the straps, the system retains heat more effectively, which speeds up the warming process. If you need even faster heat‑up times, you can position an IBC foil heater beneath the container.

Does it fit all 1000 L IBC containers?

Yes. It fits all standard IBCs from major manufacturers.

Can I add a lid or use other heating accessories with the cover?

Yes. A lid will help maintain product temperature and decrease temperature fluctuations, therefore providing more complete insulation.

The lid also provides improved frost protection, whilst also still allowing access to the top cap for insertion of IBC transfer pumps.

Is the cover suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. It works in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. Furthermore, the cover is constructed from water-repellent nylon material.
